DeLoach Vineyards’
private Yoga Retreats offer a wine country excursion that sharpens
more than just the palate. Beginning in January 2008, and continuing
throughout the entire year, DeLoach Vineyards will offer its Yoga
Retreats as day-long programs held at the winery’s private
guesthouse. This year the Yoga Retreats will be by appointment only,
allowing groups heightened flexibility in their travel planning.
Private Yoga Retreats for 2008
With each session
led by one of the region’s top yoga instructors, the day-long
retreat will offer a one-of-a-kind way to experience the peace and
serenity of DeLoach Vineyards and the Russian River Valley. The
style of yoga will be based on attendees’ interests and experience
level.
A morning yoga session, a vegetarian cooking class led by in-house
chef Cyndicy Coudray, featuring ingredients from DeLoach’s own
organic garden, lunch—and of course, top drops from DeLoach’s
stellar bottlings—will contribute to the group’s mindfulness,
overall well-being and camaraderie.
DeLoach’s commitment to biodynamic farming in its vineyards and
garden, stewardship of the land and those that farm it, and its
serene location in the Russian River Valley make the Yoga Retreats a
natural fit for the winery.
